Best dates to fish Situk

I have been to Yakutat the past four years around Labor Day. Last year was crowded and left on the Tues. following. What are your thoughts for fishing 6th thru 15th. Are fish running better after Labor Day and are there likely to be less fisherman.

Probably no less fisherman but historically the Coho run is said to peak Sept. 15th. We usually plan our trips around those dates. This year we will be there Sept. 11-18. If you have not made lodging arrangement yet it could be tough to get the best dates. If its solitude you are looking for you may want to consider doing a flyout for a couple days.
